In-Home Training

 

Typically it takes four to five sessions in order to master basic obedience commands. Addressing more specific behavior issues can take longer depending on the severity of the issue. Our training starts with an initial evaluation and training session. During this session, your goals as discussed and a strategic time line is outlined. We strive to make sure you are aware of what training to expect and what the possible outcomes might be.

 

Initial Evaluation and Training Session- 2 hrs ($125)
Follow-up Sessions- 1 hr ($75)

Boot Camp Training

Our Boot Camp Programs combine obedience training, confidence building exercises, physical conditioning, and off-site training to properly train and condition your canine companion. We offer four Boot Camp style programs at Empire K-9 and can customize any program to meet your specific needs.

Empire K9 - Dog Training

Basic Training

 

4 Weeks ($1350) For those looking for a great canine companion.

 

Upon completion of this program your canine companion will have mastered the following commands:

  • Heel – Your dog will walk by your side without pulling and will automatically sit when you stop.
  • Down and Stay- Your dog will lay down on command and hold that position until released.
  • Sit and Stay- Your dog will sit on command and will stay until released.
  • Come/ Recall- Your dog will return to you on command and sit.
  • Treadmill Trained- Your dog will be trained to run on a treadmill so you can exercise him/ her during the cold months in the comfort of your home.

 

Upon completion of this program your dog will receive a certificate of completion from Empire K-9.



Private’s Course

4 Weeks ($1600) For dogs that need a boost of confidence in social situations.

 

Upon completion of this program your canine companion will have mastered the following commands:

  • Heel – Your dog will walk by your side without pulling and will automatically sit when you stop.
  • Down and Stay- Your dog will lay down on verbal command or hand signal and hold that position until released.
  • Sit and Stay- Your dog will sit on verbal command or hand signal and will stay until released.
  • Come/Recall- Your dog will return to you on command and sit even with distracters.
  • Treadmill Trained- Your dog will be trained to run on a treadmill so you can exercise him/ her during the cold months in the comfort of your home.
  • This program also includes confidence building, field trips, and physical conditioning.

 

Upon completion of this program your dog will receive a certificate of completion and promotion from Empire K-9

 Dog Training and Behavior Specialists



Empire K9 - Dog Training

Corporal’s Course

 

8 Weeks ($2700) Designed for dogs with moderate and/or dangerous behavior issues.

 

Upon completion of this program your canine companion will have mastered the following commands:

  • Heel– Your dog will walk by your side without pulling or crossing in front of you and will automatically sit when you stop.
  • Down and Stay- Your dog will lay down on verbal command or hand signal and hold that position until released.
  • Sit and Stay- Your dog will sit on verbal command or hand signal and will stay until released.
  • Come/Recall (Off-Leash) - Your dog will return to you on command, from a distance of 25 yards and sit even with distracters.
  • Treadmill Trained- Your dog will be trained to run on a treadmill so you can exercise him/ her during the cold months in the comfort of your home.
  • This program also includes confidence building, field trips, physical conditioning and behavior modification.
  • In addition to the above commands, graduates of this program will also learn to greet humans without jumping and to wait at a door or vehicle until commanded to enter or exit.

Sergeant’s Course (Off-Leash)

12 Weeks ($3450) Only the best.

 

Upon completion of this program your canine companion will have mastered the following commands:

  • Heel – Your dog will walk by your side without pulling, and will automatically sit when you stop.
  • Down and Stay - Your dog will lay down on verbal command or hand signal, and hold that position until released.
  • Down at a Distance- Your dog will (from a distance and off-leash) lie down on command.
  • Sit and Stay- Your dog will sit on verbal command or hand signal and will stay until released.
  • Come/ Recall - Your dog will return to you on command, from a distance of 50 yards, and sit even with distracters.
  • Treadmill Trained- Your dog will be trained to run on a treadmill so you can exercise him/ her during the cold months in the comfort of your home.
  • Place- Your dog will go to a specified place, on command, and stay there until released.
  • In addition to the above commands, graduates of this program will also learn to greet humans without jumping and to wait at a door or vehicle until commanded to enter or exit.
  • This program also includes confidence building, field trips, physical conditioning and behavior modification.

Puppy Camp

 

Training your dog at an early age has great advantages. You can give your dog the skills he/she needs to grow up to be a well-trained companion. In this course we focus not only on basic obedience training, but also work on building an owner relationship that is not only strong, but also safe and effective.

 

Our puppy camp members will receive obedience imprinting, physical conditioning, socialization, confidence building, crate training, field trips, and manners training.
