All breed professional Puppy Camp training!
Our Puppy Camp Programs combine obedience imprinting, socialization, environmental desensitization, confidence building exercises, physical conditioning, and off-site training to properly train and imprint your new puppy. We offer two Puppy Camp programs at Empire K-9 and can customize any program to meet your specific needs.
Consider Puppy Camp if you are going on an extended trip or you don’t have the time needed to get your puppy off on the right paw. Instead of boarding your puppy at a kennel, let him/her stay with our expert trainer. Your pup will stay in a home environment and enjoy daily play sessions with their classmates as well as fun fieldtrips and structured training throughout the day. You will come home to a new and balanced companion puppy.
Puppy Camp Course Curriculum:
Puppy Camp Level I.
Upon completion of this program your canine companion will have mastered the following on-leash commands:
- Heel – Your puppy will walk by your side without pulling and will automatically sit when you stop.
- Down and Stay- Your puppy will lay down on command and hold that position until released.
- Sit and Stay- Your puppy will sit on command and will stay until released.
- Come/ Recall- Your puppy will return to you on command and sit.
- Treadmill Trained- Your puppy will be trained to run on a treadmill so you can exercise him/ her during the cold months in the comfort of your home.
- Name recognition- Condition your puppy to recognize/ respond to their name.
- Socialization- Your puppy will be placed in social groups so than can play/ socialize with dogs of various breed, sex, size and temperament.
Upon completion of this program your puppy will receive a certificate of completion from Empire K-9.
4 Weeks ($2100) For those looking for a great canine companion.
Note: Dogs not house trained/ crate trained add $400.00
Puppy Camp Level II.
Upon completion of this program your puppy will have mastered the following commands:
- Heel – Your puppy will walk by your side without pulling and will automatically sit when you stop.
- Down and Stay- Your puppy will lay down on verbal command or hand signal and hold that position until released.
- Sit and Stay- Your puppy will sit on verbal command or hand signal and will stay until released.
- Place – Your puppy will go to their bed or designated spot and stay until released.
- Off-Leash Come/Recall- Your puppy will return to you on command and sit even with distracters.
- Treadmill Trained- Your puppy will be trained to run on a treadmill so you can exercise him/ her during the cold months in the comfort of your home.
- This program also includes confidence building, field trips, and physical conditioning.
- This program is recommended for puppies that need to learn to “potty” outside and increase their ability to exercise more self-control when “eliminating”.
Upon completion of this program your puppy will receive a certificate of completion and promotion from Empire K-9.
8 Weeks ($3600) For puppies that need a boost of confidence in social situations.

World Class Puppy Camp Training:
The key to having a well-mannered dog is to start training early on. Puppy Boot Camp is specifically designed to help mold your new companion into the perfect dog. Unlike adult canines, puppies are eager vessels waiting to learn from their environment. Laying a good foundation early on is the key to success.
This program incorporates basic obedience imprinting and etiquette training. It also introduces puppies to the world around them, building their confidence and eliminating the chance of phobia later on. Our goal is to make sure that your puppy is groomed to be a balanced member of your family.
In addition to your puppy’s needs, we recognize that as a new owner, you may also have questions and concerns. Part of our program is dedicated to educating and working with owners to ensure that the growth of the puppy is aligned with the needs of the entire family unit.
The Puppy Boot Camp Program offers:
- Pick up and drop off service (within a 25 mile radius)
- Progress reports to include photos
- Private training sessions upon program completion
- E-mail and phone support during and after the program
